I got up this morning really excited about starting this DIY project!
I washed, dry and thinly slice about five lemons, peel and slice a few garlic cloves and a good chunk of ginger root. Next, I washed and dried several jars…
I placed the ingredients in the jars, not too tight though, leave enough room for the honey to fill in between the lemon slices. Then I poured the honey slowly and carefully over the slices, closed the jars and placed them in the back of my refrigerator. OMG…They all looked so pretty I want to make more! I made five jars…so far!
So I’ll wait patiently till the end of November (3 months from today…)
before I open them again and taste the finished product…So, that will be My DIY “Lemon/Garlic and Ginger-Infused Honey” PT2. Stay tuned ;-)!!!
